Mililani Korean BBQ

We went to the Mililani Shopping Mall for lunch with Kim's brother and his daughter for some excellent korean bbq food.

The place is not too big, just enough seat for 30 or so people, but the service is fast and the food is good too.

Everybody wants a Thermoptic Camouflage

In 1996 the original Ghost in the Shell animation spread like a wild fire across the world and made everybody take a second look at the Japanese Animation Industry.

The plot of the movie came bundle with well known futuristic concepts like cyborgs, robots, Heads-Up Display, artificial intelligence, instant communication and the Internet. But I believe it was the Thermoptic Camouflage showcased in the first scene of the movie that had the most impact.

With the announcement of the new movie ARISE, we are getting a look at a low-tech way to achieve this technology.
